The Maria Callas Museum celebrates the birthday of the legendary soprano (December 2, 1923) by inviting the public to an unforgettable celebration!
On Saturday, December 7th, at 20:00, Petraki Street (behind the Museum) will transform into a stage brimming with music and rhythm for the second edition of the street party that will light up the night with the magic of Callas!
In collaboration with Kosmos radio 93.6, the Maria Callas Museum presents an impressive DJ set by the charismatic duo Dimitra Kakaounaki & Yiota Kotseta. Guided by the voice of Maria Callas, the evening will begin with authentic and “remixed” operatic excerpts and gradually peak with dance rhythms from jazz, funk, afro-beat, and nu-disco, creating a vibrant and exciting musical experience!
The Museum café, La Divina, in collaboration with the Semeli Winery, will offer fine wines and other beverages at special prices, adding a flavorful touch to this unique event.
Another surprise awaits visitors on the night of the street party! The Museum shop will feature exclusive discounts for that day on the La tua Maria collection, including bags, notebooks, mugs, and other unique items. Additionally, the Museum catalog and artistic posters will be available at special prices for those who wish to keep the magic of Callas alive.
On the same day, from 10:00 AM to midnight, Museum visitors will have the opportunity to explore the magical world of opera, the life, and the career of this iconic artist with reduced general admission to the exhibition spaces!
