OPEN CALL – POV: My take on Maria Callas Museum

The Maria Callas Museum invites individuals aged 16 to 106 to visit the museum’s exhibition for free and create a short video reel to share on their social media — a personal storytelling-guided tour.

Participants are encouraged to draw inspiration from various aspects of the exhibition — opera, music, perseverance, feminine strength, and more — always through their own unique perspective.

Reels that are created and shared by tagging the museum will be reposted on the museum’s official social media accounts. In addition, as part of the International Museum Day celebration, on Sunday, May 18th, the videos will be screened throughout the day in the museum’s event space, with free entry. Participants will also have the opportunity to present their creation and share their experience with the audience.

Participation Terms

1. How to Participate
To take part, send an email to info@mariacallasmuseum.gr or a direct message to the museum’s official social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) by Monday, April 28, 2025.

2. Mandatory Guided Tour Attendance
Participants must attend one of the two scheduled guided tours:

• Tuesday, April 29, at 12:00
• Wednesday, April 30, at 18:00

3. Video Posting
Videos must be posted on the participants’ social media accounts — as a post and story on Instagram and/or Facebook, or as a video on TikTok — using the title:
POV: My take on Maria Callas Museum
and tagging: @mariacallasmuseum

4. Submission Deadline
The final deadline to submit the link or file of the published video to info@mariacallasmuseum.gr is Wednesday, May 14, 2025.

5. Content Usage Consent
By registering to participate, individuals grant the Maria Callas Museum the right to use their video for promotional, communication, and archival purposes, across any media platform.
