Series of Free Guided Tours in Greek Sign Language

Κύκλος δωρεάν ξεναγήσεων στην Ελληνική Νοηματική Γλώσσα

The Maria Callas Museum, in collaboration with accessibility consultancy FOCUS CS, invites you to a new series of free guided tours in Greek Sign Language (GSL), specially designed to offer a truly equal and meaningful museum experience. The tours are led by a Deaf native user of GSL, ensuring authentic communication, deep understanding, and the active participation of every visitor.

Through a journey across time and music, we will explore the legend of Maria Callas – the woman whose voice and presence left an indelible mark on global culture and gave shape to the deepest human emotions.

This initiative is part of the Museum’s ongoing commitment to offering an inclusive and accessible cultural experience for all, always in collaboration with the Communities themselves and different audience groups. For many members of the Deaf and hard of hearing Community, the lack of appropriate services often results in exclusion from museum experiences. Through actions such as this, the Museum reinforces its commitment to their cultural inclusion, creating an environment where every visitor can connect meaningfully with art and history.
