The Maria Callas Museum offers internship opportunities to students enrolled in Greek higher education institutions who are eligible to complete their internship through “ATLAS”, the Central Support System for Student Internships in Greek Higher Education, operated by the Ministry of Education.

Internships at the museum are integrated into its core operations, giving students the chance to gain meaningful hands-on experience across multiple departments, including visitor services, collection management, educational programs, events, audience research, communication, and more.

Within the museum’s collaborative and interdisciplinary environment, interns are encouraged to develop new skills, take part in team-based work, and actively contribute to the daily life and mission of the museum.

At the Maria Callas Museum, our Volunteer Program offers daily opportunities for people of all backgrounds (ages 18 and over) to get involved, connect, and make a meaningful contribution.

Volunteers have played a vital role in the museum’s operations since its founding, supporting key areas such as visitor services, the collection, educational programs, events and activities, audience research, and evaluation.

By taking part in volunteer work, ongoing training, and collaborative teams, volunteers develop new skills, share their ideas, and contribute actively to the museum’s mission. The museum’s interdisciplinary environment also offers valuable opportunities for professional growth and hands-on experience.

Those who volunteer for two months or more receive an official certificate of participation.
