Curator for a day! <\/strong><\/h3>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=”64px”][vc_column_text]To mark its second anniversary, the Maria Callas Museum of the City of Athens invites visitors to take an active role in shaping its permanent exhibition!
\nFor the first time, the Museum\u2019s friends are invited to vote for the next object to be added to the section \u201cThe Myth and Legacy of Callas<\/strong>\u201d<\/em>, contributing in their own way to the ongoing evolution of the exhibition.<\/p>\n

Among three donated items -none of which have been displayed before- the public is invited to choose the one that best reflects Maria Callas\u2019s life and artistry, shedding light on a different facet of her myth and enduring global legacy:<\/p>\n

The three objects up for vote are:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. LP record \u201cTosca,\u201d<\/strong> signed on the back by Maria Callas, Giuseppe Di Stefano and Tito Gobbi. Donated by P\u00e9ter Tarl\u00f3si<\/li>\n
  2. A fan letter<\/strong> addressed to Maria Callas, expressing profound admiration and respect for her. Donated by the Maria Callas Greek Society<\/li>\n
  3. A portrait sketch<\/strong> of Maria Callas, created by one of her admirers. Donated by the Maria Callas Greek Society<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
