Three thematic sections of the permanent exhibition are being enhanced with unique items, shedding light on new aspects of the life and work of the great 20th-century diva.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=&#8221;7738&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Among the new exhibits presented to the public for the first time are objects that highlight different facets of Maria Callas\u2019s life and artistic journey. The red dress she wore at the premiere of <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><i>L\u2019homme de la Mancha<\/i><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> in Paris, along with an elegant fan adorned with musical motifs, reflect her unique aesthetic and close connection with fashion.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;7741&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221;][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;7744&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Rare scores from her personal collection and the embroidered cover of her piano keys reveal her professionalism and dedication to her art, while a wooden ceremonial key to the city, offered to her during a public event in San Francisco in 1958, serves as a testament to her global recognition and international impact.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;7747&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221;][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;7750&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span lang=\"en-US\">Lastly, the impressive wig she wore as <\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"><i>Medea<\/i><\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> at La Scala in Milan evokes her iconic roles and commanding stage presence.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=&#8221;7753&#8243; img_size=&#8221;full&#8221;][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span lang=\"en-US\">The items belong to the <\/span><u><a href=\"https:\/\/mariacallasmuseum.gr\/en\/the-museum\/\"><span lang=\"en-US\">permanent collection of the Maria Callas Museum \/ City of Athens<\/span><\/a><\/u><span lang=\"en-US\">, and originate from an auction held in Paris in 2000, as well as from generous donations by significant collectors, such as the Hellenic Maria Callas Association and Konstantinos and Victoria Pylarinou. With respect for the exhibition\u2019s narrative, the museum\u2019s curatorial team has integrated the new exhibits in a way that invites visitors into a renewed experience through authentic artifacts, rare stories, and fresh connections with Callas\u2019s personality.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span lang=\"en-US\">The Museum invites the public\u2014both those who have already visited and those who have not yet had the chance\u2014to experience the magic of the exhibition and discover the new stories brought by the updated collection.
